Rudy J. Miera
Rudy J. Miera, from Albuquerque’s North Valley, is a novelist, Poet, Filmmaker and Actor who has organized and performed for Poetry readings and performed with the Vortex Theater. For the Premiere of Rudolfo Anaya’s “The Legend of La Llorona” (Childrens’ book) at the Bosque School, Miera sang the centuries-old Ballad and gave a summary of the song’s sources. Rudy also contributed a short film, “The 3 Words of Wisdom (Los Tres Consejos)” to a New Mexico Arts Imaginative Collective project and has shared a variety of Bi-Lingual traditional New Mexico “Cuentos” (folk tales) to audiences, young and old.
